Crosscut Frontier Foods wanted a package with the look and feel of a Pacific Northwest logging camp while offering the benefits of advanced food packaging technology. A collection of unique photographs from the Oregon Historical Society started the process. We carefully reworked the photographs to create backgrounds that would provide a period look, while adding carefully styled food photography that would drive home appetite appeal. The outer wrap carton was designed with an old-fashioned scalloped edge die-cut that was then face glued for added dimension. The side panels told the tale of "Crosscut", the famed chuckwagon cook that created these hearty and great tasting recipes.
